US-listed spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded $176 million in net inflows on Tuesday, extending a two-day recovery as Bitcoin traded back above $80,000.
The latest inflow brought the amount invested in the funds over Monday and Tuesday to about $286 million. According to Cointelegraph, the figures were based on SoSoValue data.
The improvement followed a sharp reversal late the previous week, when investors withdrew nearly $774 million from the products on Thursday and Friday. Despite the recent two-day recovery, October’s combined net outflows from US spot Bitcoin ETFs remained around $26 million through Tuesday. Since the beginning of the year, however, the funds had recorded roughly $850 million in net inflows.
Spot Bitcoin ETFs hold Bitcoin directly and allow investors to gain exposure through exchange-traded products rather than buying and storing the cryptocurrency themselves. Their daily creations and redemptions are therefore closely watched as one indication of demand for regulated Bitcoin investment vehicles.
Bitcoin price and investor sentiment
Bitcoin was trading at about $80,818 at the time of publication, up 1.6% over the previous 24 hours, according to CoinGecko. The ETF recovery coincided with that move back above the $80,000 level.
Market sentiment improved modestly but remained balanced. Alternative.me’s Crypto Fear & Greed Index rose to 51 from 48 a day earlier, keeping the market in the index’s “Neutral” category. The reading was still below 63, which represented “Greed” one week earlier.
The index is designed to summarize market mood using indicators such as price momentum and sentiment. A neutral reading suggests that neither fear nor optimism was dominant in the measure at that point.
Ether ETFs continue to lose money
The recovery in Bitcoin-focused products did not extend to US spot Ether ETFs. Those funds recorded approximately $149 million in net outflows across Monday and Tuesday, following four consecutive weeks of net withdrawals.
Ether ETF outflows for October reached about $1.32 billion through Tuesday. That pace put the month on track to record the largest monthly withdrawals from the products since November 2025.
The contrast between the two groups of funds was notable: Bitcoin ETFs had reduced their monthly deficit to $26 million after two days of inflows, while Ether ETFs continued to post substantial withdrawals.
