US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds attracted $2.39 billion in net inflows last week, their strongest weekly result of 2026 and the largest since October 2025, as investors continued adding capital despite a late-week pullback in Bitcoin. According to Cointelegraph, the funds took in a further $134.5 million on Friday.
Bitcoin ETF flows rebound
The weekly total exceeded the previous 2026 high of $1.92 billion, recorded in August. It was also below, but close to, the $2.71 billion net inflow reported for the week ending Oct. 10, 2025, according to data from SoSoValue.
The latest figures mark a significant recovery in the funds’ cumulative performance for the year. Their year-to-date net flows stood at approximately $926 million on Friday, after having fallen to a deficit of about $5.55 billion in early July.
Spot Bitcoin ETFs hold Bitcoin directly and trade on stock exchanges, giving investors exposure through a regulated market product rather than requiring them to hold the cryptocurrency themselves. Weekly inflows indicate that money entering the funds exceeded withdrawals during the period, although they do not by themselves show whether every individual fund gained assets.
Momentum eased as Bitcoin pulled back
The pace of daily inflows weakened after almost $1 billion entered the products on Monday. Bitcoin also retreated after trading above $87,100. At the time of the original report, it was changing hands at about $83,116, down 1.6% over 24 hours but still 1.7% higher over seven days, based on CoinGecko data.
Market sentiment remained firmly in the “Greed” category. Alternative.me’s Crypto Fear & Greed Index rose to 74 from 70 a week earlier. The index is designed to summarize investor sentiment, with higher readings generally indicating stronger market optimism.
Ether and XRP products also attract capital
The buying was not limited to Bitcoin-linked funds. US spot Ether ETFs recorded roughly $690 million in net inflows last week, reversing about $140 million of outflows in the previous week. Spot XRP ETFs drew approximately $76 million over the same period, according to SoSoValue.
These figures show that fresh capital moved across several cryptocurrency exchange-traded products during the week, even as Bitcoin’s daily price performance became less positive near the end of the period. They also place the Bitcoin funds’ latest result in context: the largest flow was into Bitcoin products, while Ether and XRP ETFs recorded smaller but positive weekly totals.
