U.S. Bitcoin ETFs End Two-Week Losing Run Despite $137.9 Million Friday Outflow

U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds finished the latest week with net inflows of about $301 million, ending a two-week losing streak even as investors withdrew $137.9 million on Friday. The late-week selling kept pressure on the funds and left their October performance negative.

Weekly inflows overcome late selling

Friday marked the second consecutive session of outflows for the U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs, according to Decrypt’s ETF tracker. The two-day retreat reached approximately $773.5 million, offsetting much of the $1.07 billion that entered the products from Monday through Wednesday.

Despite that reversal, the funds retained a weekly gain of roughly $301 million. The result was enough to break their two-week stretch of weekly losses, although the margin was comparatively narrow after the sharp withdrawals at the end of the week.

The funds’ October balance remains negative. They briefly moved into positive territory during the week, but a $635.6 million outflow on Thursday—the largest daily withdrawal recorded for the products in October—pushed the monthly result back below zero. The ETFs are now down about $314 million for the month.

Since their debut in January 2024, the U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs have accumulated approximately $57.6 billion in cumulative net inflows. Their total net assets stand at about $100.2 billion.

Ethereum and Solana products also face monthly losses

Other spot crypto ETFs have had a weaker month. Ethereum ETFs recorded a modest $4.4 million inflow on Friday, but still lost about $221 million across the week. Their October outflows now total roughly $1.18 billion.

Solana ETFs recorded no net flow on Friday after investors withdrew $8.9 million on Thursday. They are down approximately $68 million for October.

Spot crypto ETFs hold the underlying digital asset and trade on stock exchanges in a format similar to ordinary shares. That structure allows investors to gain exposure through a conventional brokerage account rather than holding the cryptocurrency directly. Daily flow reports have become an important indicator of market sentiment because a significant share of the activity comes from institutions and financial advisers.

Bitcoin ETFs have taken in about $57.6 billion since launching, while Ethereum ETFs have attracted approximately $12.7 billion since their debut in July 2024. Solana products entered the market late last year.

Bitcoin weakens as traders turn more cautious

Bitcoin declined 1.1% over 24 hours to about $80,490 on Saturday and was down 1.2% over the week, according to CoinGecko. Ethereum fell 2.6% to approximately $2,344, while Solana dropped 2.8% to around $101. The total cryptocurrency market value decreased 1.2% to $2.79 trillion.

The softer prices followed a midweek selloff across global markets. Oil moved above $111 a barrel, while technology shares linked to artificial intelligence declined. Bitcoin subsequently settled into what analysts described as a “wait-and-see” phase.

Prediction-market traders have also become more defensive about Bitcoin’s October performance. Traders on Myriad, a prediction market developed by Decrypt’s parent company, Dastan, put the probability of Bitcoin falling to $77,500 before the end of the month at 43%, up from 32% one day earlier. They assigned an 18% chance to a decline to $75,000.

The implied probability of Bitcoin rising above $87,500 fell to 10%, from 17%. On Solana, the odds of reaching $160 before falling to $40 stood at 51.6%, down from 54.9%. For Ethereum, the probability of reaching $3,000 before dropping to $1,500 remained at 61.3%.

Moneyiar market picture

Moneyiar data at 10:39 p.m. on October 25, 2026, showed Bitcoin at $80,430.506808014, down 0.08% over 24 hours and 1.32% over seven days.

Among the other assets tracked by Moneyiar, Flow was priced at $0.0264746028, down 2.72% in 24 hours and 10.07% over seven days. RedStone stood at $0.1452603192, down 2.72% on the day but up 6.36% over the week. Loaded Lions was $0.0011817703, down 2.39% over 24 hours and 3.06% over seven days.

The week had begun with a more constructive signal after J.P. Morgan Asset Management projected annual Bitcoin returns of 10% over the next decade. However, the subsequent ETF outflows and weaker crypto prices show that near-term trading conditions remain unsettled. The weekly ETF gain marks an improvement, but October flows across Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana products remain negative.
