U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds attracted $2.95 billion in net inflows over the 30 days through Sept. 28, as investors continued buying after a sharp mid-September withdrawal. The funds recorded their eighth consecutive trading day of inflows on Monday, although the daily total was relatively modest at $31.07 million, according to SoSoValue data reported by Decrypt.
Bitcoin funds recover after sharp outflows
The latest inflow streak began on Sept. 17, shortly after Bitcoin ETFs suffered their most severe one-day loss in months. On Sept. 15, the funds recorded $450.4 million in net outflows. That move coincided with a U.S. Senate vote on the Clarity Act, which failed 49-50 after falling short of the 60 votes required to advance.
The difficult period extended across the week. Bitcoin ETFs recorded only $6.2 million in net inflows, their weakest weekly result in 141 weeks. Buyers then returned quickly. Inflows approached $1 billion on Sept. 21, the strongest single-day performance for the funds since October 2025, followed by another $715 million on Sept. 22.
The pace eased later in the week, with inflows of $347 million on Sept. 23, $191 million on Sept. 24 and $134 million on Sept. 25. Together, those flows helped produce a weekly total of about $2.4 billion, the largest weekly haul since October 2025.
BlackRock leads Monday’s flows
Monday’s $31.07 million inflow was the smallest daily gain in the eight-day run. BlackRock’s IBIT fund brought in $54.84 million, while Grayscale’s GBTC saw $23.19 million leave the fund and Fidelity’s FBTC recorded $10.90 million in outflows.
The renewed demand also pushed Bitcoin above the average ETF investor’s cost basis of $81,722. That put the typical fund holder back in profit for the first time since January. Bitcoin was trading above $84,000 on Monday, according to the source report.
The streak remains close to, but below, the summer record. A nine-day run ended on Aug. 28 after the funds recorded $201.9 million in outflows following remarks by Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh at Jackson Hole. A ninth consecutive day of inflows would match that August run.
Ether and other crypto ETFs also attract money
Flows have not been limited to Bitcoin products. Ethereum ETFs collected $982.5 million over the same 30-day period and added $17.1 million on Monday. Solana funds received $278.2 million over 30 days, while XRP funds took in $127.05 million.
These products are ETFs, investment vehicles that hold or track an underlying asset and trade on an exchange. Their flows provide a measure of money entering or leaving the funds, although they do not by themselves establish the future direction of cryptocurrency prices.
