Decrypt Money Accounts Launch on Solana With One USDT Balance Across Products

Decrypt has launched Money Accounts on Solana, giving users a single self-custodial balance in USDT that can be used across the company’s financial products, including Earn, Swaps, Predictions and Perps. The move is part of its broader plan to build The Information Exchange, a platform combining information with financial and intelligence markets.

One balance for multiple products

The account is designed to remove the need for separate deposits, wallets or bridges for each product. Users can deposit funds through virtually any payment method and begin using the account immediately.

Network costs are handled through fee-payer co-signing, which sponsors gas and rent. As a result, users do not need to keep SOL in their account or manage Solana transaction fees directly.

Decrypt co-founder Ilan Hazan said the company’s aim was to provide “one account, one balance” through which users could access financial instruments from the same place where they consume information. The company said additional partners would be announced in the coming weeks.

Self-custody and cross-chain access

Money Accounts are self-custodial. Decrypt does not hold users’ private keys and cannot transact on their behalf. Private-key export is expected to be added shortly, allowing accounts to be used with Solana wallet software.

Although the balance is held in USDT on Solana, activity connected to other networks can be managed behind the scenes. Decrypt said, for example, that Myriad Predictions markets settle on BNB Chain, while users can trade them from their Solana USDT balance without interacting with a bridge or switching to another network.

Existing Myriad Wallet users can access the new accounts immediately. The wallet previously used for Myriad Predictions is becoming Decrypt Money Accounts, with no migration required. This means the same account and balance now cover both Decrypt and Myriad services.

The Information Exchange rollout

Money Accounts are intended to provide the underlying infrastructure for The Information Exchange, a financial and intelligence market being developed by Decrypt and Myriad. Decrypt is described as the information layer, while Myriad connects what users learn with actions they can take. The upcoming MYR token is intended to serve as a shared economic coordination layer on Solana.

The Information Exchange brings reporting, data, prices and probabilities together around specific subjects. Its planned instruments extend beyond prediction markets to include spot products, perpetual futures, structured event products and others. New features are scheduled to arrive in stages over the coming weeks, continuing into Solana Breakpoint, according to the company’s announcement reported by Decrypt.
