El Salvador’s National Bitcoin Office is preparing a November program that will bring together Bitcoin conferences, a technology event, a rodeo and a gathering focused on circular economies. The schedule includes five principal events in San Salvador, Lake Ilopango and El Zonte, alongside additional activities organized by local communities.
According to Bitcoin Magazine, the program is being led by Stacy Herbert and Max Keiser, who head the National Bitcoin Office. The events cover subjects ranging from institutional Bitcoin finance and financial freedom to artificial intelligence, merchant adoption and the use of Bitcoin in everyday commerce.
Five events across El Salvador
The official schedule opens on November 10 with the Bitcoin Capital Summit at BINAES, the downtown library and technology center in San Salvador. Bitcoin Histórico follows on November 11 and 12 in the capital’s Centro Histórico, with the National Palace serving as its main venue. The Renaissance Rodeo is scheduled for November 13 on the shore of Lake Ilopango.
The program resumes on November 18 and 19 with EmTech AI LATAM at the Escuela Superior de Economía y Negocios. The sequence concludes on November 19 and 20 in El Zonte with the Global Bitcoin Circular Economies Summit.
The timetable places events with different audiences within the same month. Some are designed around Bitcoin’s financial and institutional role, while others address technology, local culture or the practical operation of Bitcoin-based communities. Organizers also expect side events hosted by local participants.
Bitcoin and finance take centre stage
The Bitcoin Capital Summit will run from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on November 10. Luca Esposito of Blockstream Capital Partners is hosting the event in collaboration with the Bitcoin Office. Its theme is Bitcoin’s institutional era, including the relationship between corporate treasuries and capital markets.
The agenda includes opening remarks from Esposito, a keynote by Sean Bill, identified as the former chief investment officer of BSTR at Blockstream, and a panel examining the institutional Bitcoin stack. Panel participants named in the announcement include Pierre Rochard, chief executive of The Bitcoin Company, and Juan Diego Sol, IBEX’s regional manager for Central America. The evening is also scheduled to include a closing fireside discussion with Max Keiser and Stacy Herbert, as well as other panels.
Attendance is free, but registration requires approval through the event’s official Luma page.
Bitcoin Histórico will focus on Bitcoin, financial freedom and El Salvador’s transformation. Keynotes at the National Palace will be streamed to large LED screens in Plaza Gerardo Barrios, allowing the programme to extend beyond the venue.
Tickets for Bitcoin Histórico are sold only in Bitcoin through bitcoinhistorico.com. The $350 Trailblazer Seat provides guaranteed seating, access to public sessions, technology demonstrations and community meetups, plus an invitation to the afterparty. Salvadorans with a Salvadorian identity card can purchase the $21 Satoshi Chero ticket.
The $2,100 Genesis Crown Pass includes VIP seating inside the National Palace, fast-track entry, access to a private lounge with meals, an exclusive merchandise package and priority networking with keynote speakers. Every Bitcoin Histórico ticket also includes free entry to the Renaissance Rodeo. Organizers have shared the promotional codes CROWN15 and Cowboy21.
From cowboy culture to artificial intelligence
The inaugural Renaissance Rodeo will combine bull riding, mutton busting, barrel racing, music and barbecue. Organizers describe it as a celebration of Salvadoran cowboy culture and regenerative agriculture. Information and a waitlist are available through the event’s official website, renaissance.rodeo. Ticket holders for Bitcoin Histórico receive free admission.
EmTech AI LATAM, scheduled for November 18 and 19, will be the first Latin American edition of the MIT Technology Review conference. It is being organized with Opinno and local partner C² Labs, with support from the Agencia Nacional de Inteligencia Artificial.
Its agenda will examine how artificial-intelligence projects can move from pilots to production impact. It will also address governance, talent development and technology trends. Registration is available at emtechai-latam.com.
El Zonte gathering targets everyday Bitcoin use
The final event, the Global Bitcoin Circular Economies Summit, will take place in El Zonte on November 19 and 20. Bitcoin Beach and the Federation of Bitcoin Circular Economies are organizing the first public edition of the gathering. Earlier meetings had been invite-only and focused on bringing international expertise to the use of Bitcoin in the developing world.
Registration is free through the official Bitcoin Beach summit page. Confirmed speakers include Jeremy Almond, Paystand’s co-founder and chief executive, Alexandra Navarro of Paystand, Gerardo Linares and Evelyn Lemus.
The summit’s programme will focus on Bitcoin as everyday money, merchant adoption and education. It will also examine lessons from circular economies in Latin America, Africa and Asia. In this context, a circular economy refers to a community where Bitcoin can be used across multiple parts of daily economic activity, including payments between merchants and customers.
