Memecoin trading paired with tokenized equities surpassed direct stock-token activity on Robinhood Chain on Sept. 2, highlighting early market behavior on the permissionless blockchain. Data compiled by on-chain researcher Adam Tehc showed $217 million in volume for memecoin markets linked to Robinhood’s tokenized stocks, compared with $127 million traded through direct stock-token markets that day. Traders are using tokenized shares such as Nvidia and Hims & Hers as assets within these markets, according to CryptoSlate. The figures provide an early indication of how participants are using the chain’s stock-related tokens, with memecoin pairs accounting for the larger share of reported activity. The data does not indicate whether the trend will persist, but it shows that trading around tokenized equities extended beyond straightforward exposure to the underlying stocks during the period measured.
