Sazmining has begun offering Proto immersion bitcoin mining hashboards to individual and institutional customers, allowing buyers to own the hardware while the company installs and operates it at a U.S. facility. The offering starts at $1,397 and includes 0% financing over 18 months, according to Bitcoin Magazine.

Hashboard ownership with managed operations

Each Proto immersion hashboard is configured to produce roughly 200 terahashes per second (TH/s) at about 15 joules per terahash (J/TH), according to the companies. Buyers own the equipment outright, while Sazmining handles deployment, monitoring and maintenance at one of its facilities.

The arrangement is designed to reduce the practical burden of operating mining equipment. Customers do not need to manage the physical installation or day-to-day maintenance themselves. Instead, they pay a single rate covering electricity and maintenance, while the bitcoin generated by their machines is sent directly to their own wallets.

The company said selling hashboards rather than complete mining systems lowers the initial purchase threshold without changing the ownership structure. Proto’s immersion systems had previously been deployed by large mining operators, and the new arrangement makes the hardware available through Sazmining’s mining-as-a-service platform to both individual and institutional buyers.

Sazmining described its business model as one in which customers own the rigs and the company operates them in professional data centers. The company was founded in 2018 and says it operates facilities in the United States, Paraguay and Norway, serving owners worldwide.

Pricing, financing and delivery

The starting price is $1,397, with 0% financing available over 18 months for Proto immersion hashboards purchased through Sazmining. Customers can pay by card or by bitcoin, USDT or USDC, with a discount available for the latter payment options. Pricing, financing terms and any applicable sales tax are shown at checkout.

The hashboards come with a one-year warranty from Proto. Orders opened on October 16, 2026, and the systems are expected to begin operating between November and December 2026. Customers can place orders through Sazmining’s website or schedule a consultation with one of the company’s Bitcoin Strategy Advisors.

The launch follows a multi-megawatt supply relationship between Sazmining and Proto. The companies said they plan to expand that relationship as demand develops, but did not provide a total capacity for the new individual-owner offering.

Proto is described as Block’s suite of bitcoin mining products and services. Its immersion mining hardware is designed around efficiency, durability and long-term operation. Immersion mining generally places mining components in a cooling fluid, allowing the operating facility to manage heat generated by the equipment.

What the arrangement means for bitcoin production

Under the model, customers acquire bitcoin through the output of their own mining hardware rather than by purchasing coins through an exchange. Sazmining CEO and co-founder Kent Halliburton said the company views this as a different way to acquire bitcoin because the owner’s cost is spread across the machine’s operating life and associated power expenses.

The company did not present that structure as a guaranteed cost advantage or promise a particular return. Mining output and economics can vary, and the release specifically said the outcome cannot be quantified in advance. The company characterized mining as a form of diversification alongside buying bitcoin, rather than as a forecast.

Sazmining also said its fleet’s carbon-free share is more than 20 percentage points above the corresponding share for the Bitcoin network. It presented renewable-powered, professionally operated mining as part of its ongoing operating approach. The announcement did not provide the underlying percentages or a methodology for that comparison.

Because Sazmining operates the equipment on behalf of owners, the offer combines direct ownership of mining hardware with outsourced infrastructure management. That distinguishes it from buying bitcoin outright and from running a miner independently at home or in a personally managed facility.
