U.S. spot Solana exchange-traded funds recorded their strongest weekly fundraising since launch, bringing in $188 million of net new money in the five trading sessions through Sept. 25. All seven funds in the group posted inflows, while Bitwise’s BSOL accounted for about $128 million, or 68% of the weekly total.
The surge included a single-day record on Friday, when the funds collectively received about $87 million. Bitwise took $56 million of that amount, followed by Grayscale’s GSOL with $19 million. The daily inflow was the largest recorded by the group since the products began trading.
According to CoinDesk, the weekly figures were shared by Solana’s official account. The results point to broad demand for regulated investment products offering exposure to SOL, although the distribution of flows remained heavily concentrated in Bitwise’s fund.
Bitwise remains the dominant fund
BSOL’s $128 million weekly intake put it well ahead of the other products. Grayscale’s GSOL drew approximately $28 million, while Fidelity’s FSOL received about $18 million. Morgan Stanley, VanEck, Franklin Templeton and 21Shares together accounted for the remaining $14 million.
Bitwise’s lead is even more pronounced when measured from the launch of the funds. BSOL has attracted roughly $1.2 billion of the group’s $1.6 billion in cumulative net inflows, equivalent to about 76% of the total. Its 68% share during the latest week was therefore lower than its longer-term proportion, as competing funds collectively brought in about $60 million.
Net inflows show the amount of money entering a fund after investor withdrawals have been deducted. They do not simply measure trading activity or changes in the market value of existing shares. A spot ETF is an exchange-traded product designed to track the underlying asset, allowing investors to gain exposure through a brokerage account rather than directly managing a cryptocurrency wallet.
Solana flows rise alongside broader crypto demand
The interest in Solana products came during a strong week for other U.S.-listed crypto funds as well. Bitcoin ETFs attracted about $2.4 billion, while ether products received approximately $690 million, based on CoinDesk calculations using Farside’s daily figures.
The latest Solana inflows do not, by themselves, establish how SOL’s price will perform. They do show that investors were adding money to products linked to the cryptocurrency during the week, with participation extending across all seven funds rather than being limited to a single issuer.
SOL was trading at around $119 during Monday’s Asian morning session, according to CoinDesk data cited in the report. That level remained about 60% below the cryptocurrency’s record near $293.
Moneyiar market data at 2026-09-25 22:04 (+03:30) showed SOL at 121.026989553 USD, up 3.59% over 24 hours and 6.91% over seven days. The figures provide a separate market snapshot from the ETF-flow data and are not a measure of the money invested in the funds.
Alpenglow upgrade reaches another test stage
The record ETF flows arrived as Solana developers continued testing Alpenglow, a proposed network upgrade focused on transaction finality. Finality is the point at which a payment is treated as irreversible by the network.
Alpenglow is intended to reduce that waiting period from about 12.8 seconds to roughly 150 milliseconds. The upgrade reached Solana’s second public testing environment on Friday, but the approximately 150-millisecond figure remains a target rather than a confirmed live-network result.
There is also no announced date for deployment on Solana’s main blockchain. As a result, the technology is still in the testing phase, and the latest ETF data reflects investor flows during that process rather than a completed network upgrade.
Together, the fund figures and the development milestone highlight two different aspects of the Solana market: growing access through exchange-traded products and ongoing work on the blockchain’s performance. The weekly record was driven primarily by BSOL, but every fund recorded positive net flows during the period.
