Zcash (ZEC) has rallied 100% to move above $1,500, bringing Grayscale’s Zcash ETF to within $85 million of reaching $1 billion, according to CryptoSlate. The move puts the fund close to the milestone as interest in the privacy-focused cryptocurrency strengthens. Separately, holders of the fund’s ZCSH shares would receive three shares for every one currently held under a proposed share split. The split would reduce the net asset value assigned to each individual share proportionately, while leaving the total investment value unchanged solely as a result of the split. The developments link ZEC’s sharp market move with a significant asset milestone for Grayscale’s exchange-traded fund. CryptoSlate reported the ETF’s progress alongside the proposed adjustment to its share structure.
