A reported 84 million XRP moved into exchange wallets between October 12 and 15 as the token’s price approached $1.30. The increase raises questions about potential available supply, but wallet balances cannot confirm that the tokens were sold or explain the transfers.
Ethereum, XRP and Solana fell more sharply than Bitcoin as higher inflation, October rate-hike expectations and a stronger dollar pressured crypto markets. Analysts also linked the retreat to profit-taking after months of altcoin momentum and reduced futures positioning.

Standard Chartered has launched custody for Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin through its Dubai branch. The bank, Ripple and LMAX plan to let institutions use RLUSD held in custody as trading collateral, although no launch date has been announced for that integration.
